We are grateful to be in ministry with your family and we prioritize children's safety. The information you provide here will be used only by trained staff and volunteers to maintain good communication with you and your family. EUMC is a LGBTQ+ affirming faith community and is committed to maintaining a safe space for those who may have been harmed by the church in the past. If you have any questions about curriculum or beliefs we would love to meet and discuss. We look forward to walking together on our faith journey.

Photographs and video will be taken during church events. Photos of children will not be posted on any PERSONAL social media accounts. The legal guardian gives permission to Edmonds United Methodist Church to publish photos/images of their child on the church website, Twitter, YouTube or other social news/media websites that promote the goals and objectives of the congregation. By granting this permission, the guardian understands that Edmonds UMC may use photos/images/videos of their child for purposes such as celebrating achievements and publicizing events, as deemed appropriate by the church staff and leadership.

I assume any and all risks, including the risk of injury, illness, or death, associated with my or my child(ren)’s use of Edmond’s United Methodist Church’s facilities and/or participation in church-sponsored activities. I further agree on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, assigns, and personal representatives, to waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages, including attorney fees, I now, or may hereafter have, whether known or unknown, against Edmonds United Methodist Church, it’s pastors, congregants, employees, and agents for any injuries suffered by me or my child(ren) in connection with church-sponsored activities. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Waiver of Liability and fully understand that I am waiving any right that I may have to bring a legal action or to assert a claim against Edmonds United Methodist Church.

The ministries of EUMC do relay on the generosity of members to fund staff, supplies, and all the various costs associated with our activities. We encourage families to prayerfully consider a regular pledge to the church and include your young folks in age appropriate discussions on giving.
